Watertown < WI government post office

To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter to put on the record that I did not receive my package that was delivered to the post office July 27, 2018.
We were notified that they tried to deliver the package on July 30, but we were at the doctors all that day. That week we had a hard time getting to the post office to pick it up. On Thursday August 2nd we were able to get there and they said they couldn’t find the package.
I sent my husband over to forward the package to my friend in New York on Thursday Aug 2nd, 2018 but they claimed she already signed for it and that would be impossible because it was not claimed by
me and forwarded yet! It would take 2 or 3 days to get to New York. They took the notice slip from my husband and I did not sign that saying I received the package!
I am at a loss at what to do at this point because they took the slip that says it was at the post office! I have no proof of it being delivered there.
I will have to pay for that cell phone when I get the bill, a cell phone I never received.
Please try to resolve this issue.

I frequent this location several times a week and have always received great service, which is why I was appalled with the way I was treated today. I didn't even have a chance to catch the associate's name, but she was a lady who often helps me and is always pleasant. I was on a phone call with family while waiting and when I got to the counter I asked that person to hold on while I completed my transaction. The employee was incredibly rude to me and actually charged me for 2 day shipping, which I questioned because I am always given options. She stated that had I not been on my phone she would have explained all of my shipping options to me instead of trying to overcharge me, but maybe next time I'll pay attention to what I'm doing. Then she stated she likes to charge people on their phone for 2 day or express shipping as punishment for being on their phone while in the post office. I was absolutely shocked that she would admit to trying to defraud customers of their money and overcharge for unwanted services, all because she disagrees with them taking calls in a public place. And to be so brazen as to admit that she does this is astounding to me. It felt criminal. I stayed polite with her and thanked her and started to leave when she called me back to the counter to ask where I work. I told her I work form home and she scoffed at me and rolled her eyes. I'm so upset with the way I was treated. I cannot believe this would be allowed. I wish I had another location to utilize, but it's unrealistic to do so with the volume I need to ship out.
