COVID - Deliver person - Packages dumped in piles at mailboxes
I live at the Martine Apts off NE 8th St. My leasing office has closed do to COVID. At this time they are unable to have packages delivered to the office. Whoever delivers our mail dumps ALL PACKAGES at the community mail location. They're out in the open, on the ground, on top of the boxes wherever they decide to toss deliveries. I have 3 claims filed with online services because I've not received any packages. Is this illegal? If they can't fit it in the box, the office is closed, shouldn't packages be delivered to our apartments. I respect our complex leasing office. The mail delivery person is out of line.
Hi I live in an Bellevue apartment on the 8th NE Street. recently I keep receiving other unit mails in my mailbox.
At first week I was thinking maybe there was some misunderstanding so I asked building manager to pass the mail to the right unit. I am thinking if the people who got the wrong person's mail and they might just throw away like a junk mail? What If that was my important message from bank or hospital?
Could you please ask the mailman to pay more attention?
Package was never delivered and status shows nothing. When I called the post office, I'm asked to enter a long string of tracking number only for it to tell me what I already see 'In transit on 2/9/18' and no more information. And then it tells me customer service hold is more than 45 minutes.
The service gets worse every year. Last week the carrier left all of the locked boxed unlocked and wide open on our block . Now it's been a week and still NO mail delivery for Woodridge residence. The street is cleared. The Factoria Annex is USELESS! Bel main won't even answer their phone during posted hours. The postmaster general for this district need to be disciplined or fired!
The hours of operation for the Factoria USPS office indicate that it is open for business on Saturdays until 5PM. This is incorrect information and everyone that reads this information makes a wasted trip on Saturdays to that office. Please correct that information so that people don't waste time and money going there on Saturdays. In the minute that I stood at the Factoria office, calling my family to determine where I could go to get a certified mail receipt for a letter, at least a half a dozen people came up and discovered the same. This information creates a lot of waste and is a discredit to USPS information services on-line.
Contacted them yesterday regarding a lost package, said they would get back to me, never did. Today tried for three hours, called 425-453 5655 and 425-454-7288 to track a package that I sent from N.J. worst customer service never got back with me to let me know if the item was delivered. Item shows up in tracking system as not updated in system,
it is over 7 days and it should take 2 to 3 days.
This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a post office. Sierra a young girl probably late 20's is there to assist me with customer service supposively. I'm there to ship a package international to Europe. I had little knowledge and wanting to know my options for the cheapest way to get it there. She said with your priority box it's $27.00 and with my own box it's $36.00. I asked, from her knowledge this is the cheapest way? And her reply was, SIR! loud enough where everyone(8 customers) could hear behind me. Repeating something she has already said. So I purchased and she said she couldn't provide a tracking after the transaction. I come to find out this is not the cheapest price to ship my package where I wanted to. I looked online via usps(Bellevue) I could of saved $18. I was just there to figure out the cheapest way and have a good experience. This place FAILED thanks to Sierra.Lack of knowledge provided by her and a really bad customer experience considering how embarrassed I was and rude she was.If your trying to ship international ship with you own box. Pay for it online because they provide a tracking number that way. Print your label out tape it on your package with a international customs paperwork and at all costs try to avoid this unprofessional, non understanding and incompetent young lady.Please email me if you want more info:[email protected]
Went to Bellevue WY Post Office earlier . Wanted to pay shipping cost for small package already packed and with me . Was told that can not be done . At time of payment package has to remain at Post Office ? All I needed to add was purchase info in package, 1 page copy .Then bring it back and return . Can someone tell me how one can leave packs downstairs for mail person to pick up - pre paid ! Wait was 45 minutes .. I don't get it, Iv sent packs before with paid postage ?
