This postal service is the WORST! Like others I do not get my mail. NOTHING. Ive called. Ive left notes for the postal carrier. Ive sent letters to the Postmaster. NOTHING...I get no mail other than JUNK. No bills. No important banking mail. NOTHING. Im sick of it! The Struck Ave service is HORRIBLE!

It appears a postmaster at the west PO is wrongly placing charges on prepaid spice envelopes from Skokie IL that have already been paid by this spice company. This co. paid $1.74 postage on a 4oz envelope and the "post master" requested I pay $2.54 more postage. I would like this corrected. I have received many of these types of spice shipments w/o requests for additional payment so it appears there a particular individual doing this. this has happened more that once but not on all of the same type of packages so it appears to be dependent on one person
I am so disgusted with the postal service in Madison, I don't know what to do, I changed my address at the Post Office on Struck St. and still cannot get my mail, it is a disgrace the way poor people are treated when it comes to mail delivery.
I'm not sure where to file a complaint but my postal delivery person regularly puts packages on my front porch in the pouring rain/driving snow as well as leaves the mailbox lid open to the elements. It is not uncommon for me to get soaking wet letters and pkgs. In fact last night I just happened to notice a package under the snow which I could have easily missed. I have a roof covered side porch which has even closer access than the front porch where pkgs could easily be left and they would stay dry. How do I make this happen? My postal delivery person is not particularly friendly (never even responds to my hello or how are you) so I don't think an actual conversation would be helpful.

I sent a padded envelope, priority mail, to California on 12/17. It arrived there on 12/26 ... NINE days later! I expected the estimated delivery date of 12/21 to be a day or two later, but 9 days? Really? I think you owe me $13.65. Ridiculous. Cookies were a bit stale.
So we mistakenly put a flat rate box in for mailing without postage. I am wondering if we can come by and get it paid for OR will it just be returned to our address and have to wait? Poor service called many many times about putting other people Mail in my mailbox and it’s continued to happen the Mail man is not reading the names on my Mailbox and I’ve told him many times wish there were more I can do.
I have never had so many issues with any post office like I have had with the west side Madison location. For a year we have been trying to get our mail delivered to our proper address!! They send it back to sender! Really !!! Your job is to deliver the mail to the address on the envelope regardless of the name. Many homes have multiple names living in it! Let’s get it together carriers!! Not like your not making a good wage to do your job.

I've tracked packages that say they were delivered and did not get the packages. I was home each day waiting for the package, so I know i didn't miss the driver!

this has to be the worst experience I have ever had at a post office. My package was delayed 3 times by the driver and then decided to make a business decision and put words in my mouth stating I wanted my package help. So I drive over since the note says it was held for pick up. When I get there the employee lady was rude...no I'm sorry we screwed up your order or I'm sorry we wasted your gas money coming over. On top of that the package was at the facility and for some reason nobody in that facility could locate a small box with the tracking number. Stuff happens i know but when its your fault you should be a little more appreciative of my time. Also answering your phone helps.....tried calling 6 times and couldn't get through.....one call to another post office and they did more to help than this one. I just got the feeling they didn't know and didn't care, not something your customer should be feeling.
i am deeply bothered that when i was in this facility yesterday afternoon not one of the 3 people serving the public at the counters wore a face mask. this is the only essential service location i have entered where employees show so little respect fot their customers! every grocery store, etc.. is the area requires employees to wear masks. i am amazed usps is so careless and disrespectful of the public. when i called to discuss this i was asked by av"supervisor" if i had anything in writing that said face masks were required. i told him that if if not against the law., it was the decent thing to do. when contact tracking becomes common, you should not be surprized to see this location as a source of covid transmission. the plexi is not enough. a good percentage of the time the postal employees were not behind it. i cant believe the usps lack of customer care. there was no hand sanitizer. nor did i see any attempt to disinfect surfaces at all

How long does it take a post card size green card take to get from central Madison, WI to Fitchburg, WI? Its been over two weeks now.
My mail has been on temp fwd since. Dec 2nd. Still being delivered on Dec 18. Called and talked to supv Michelle who refused to provide her last name. Nine days later neighbor called me to report 8 pcs of mail in the box. Called WS station for 2 and a half hours straight and phone was never answered. Verizon cut me off during each call after dozens of rings. There is no accountability at the PO.
Whoever delivered mail on Altem Cir today, Tues 12/18, got the wrong mail delivered to 3 different houses today out of 6 in the circle. This has been happening almost on a daily basis. Can this get straightened out?
