Submitted a change of address in January, received verification at new address now it's March and there are still deliveries to my old address. I went down to the Bountiful PO to find out why....was told everything is fine. Today a parcel that I needed and had tracked arrived at the old address. Frustrating.
I live at 193 Hillside Lane in North Salt Lake. Most weeks I do not receive the ad that are published for the supermarket and other items.
Is there a reason why, or would it be possible to provide this service?
Our postman has left our community post box wide open for the last couple days. ITS LOCKED FOR A REASON!! Seriously want to know who trained this carrier, you'd think it is common sense to close and relock the mailbox behind you.
Why is the mask mandate not posted on the post office door? I thought there was a federal mandate for masks to be worn on all federal buildings. I am tired of mask wearing, but I am wearing a mask to help prevent the virus spread. I have had both vaccinations, but CDC guidelines still advise mask wearing.
I will be following up with Utah's senators and representatives.
Very frustrated with the Bountiful post office. I've had my issues with them before. But this is just ridiculous! Tracking says my package arrived at the post office a week ago. (Registered mail) I gave it a day & called no answer, nothing. so I give it another day called & emailed. No answer, no reply. After again calling, had to call the main "customer service line" I finally had to go in. Talked to the supervisor and he said "well maybe the carrier took it out didn't scan it when they left, didn't scan it when it was delivered & didn't get a signature & delivered it to the wrong house." I really think someone there stole it. I was also told I could just go ahead and file a claim, but he still has one day left to "investigate".
This post office is very frustrating to deal with.
1 - they never answer their phones
2 - they attempt delivery, and if you are not home your postman reschedules your re-delivery so when you go online to do it, it says it's already been done and you cannot change it.
This makes it EXTREMELY difficult to get critical mail in a timely manner. I HATE dealing with the post office, I would use UPS or even FedEx every day over USPS.
2 pieces of mail were never delivered to California relatives. Want so badly to support USPS but if it isn't able to work properly, going to have to find another way. This pandemic makes services vital. Please value the customer.
Called the post office Aug 8 (numerous times). The phone system transfers me to the operator and then no one picks up the phone call. Eventually, the phone systems hangs up on you. Very frustrating when trying to reach them.
Why does this post office have a phone number if no one is assigned to answer it? How does the public report a delivery problem when one exist if their hung up on every time they call?
Please correct this inefficient problem as soon as possible!

Horrible service I will pay extra to have everything delivered by UPS or Fed Ex.... Several times lost package or returned to sending saying unable to deliver. Called several times no response
Hi: I was trying to find out if someone has placed an illegal mail hold on my address. I usually get mail on either Tuesday or Wednesday without fail and have not. I know I no longer have the same carrier, because it is now sporadic.
I called the main Federal (800) and hung up after 40 minutes on hold. I call up the Bountiful Post Office (801) 292-5754 and it says it is transferring my call to an Operator. . . it rings 10 times and then hangs up. This magic answering service is really amazing. Yes, I know I should get off my butt and go in in person; but I am trying not to ruin somebodies' day that isn't in charge of laughing and setting the phone to "screw-off" mode!
If you want to save money and not piss people off; take the phone out or do not publish it on line! I am only sorry that I wasn't trying to tell you that you won the lottery!
Literally the least sensible system for passports. Hello hoop! Allow me to jump through you. I'd rather gouge my eyes out. Only walk in Saturday office. One person. No signs to tell you which line or person is passports. Every poor soul that walked in was confused. Get ready to kiss your Saturday morning goodbye. Hours long line.
Regarding the passport and passport photo info on this site, the information is confusing. We stopped in this morning for PHOTOGRAPHS only. We need them for travel visas for an upcoming trip. We were told we needed appointments.However, the website says that appointments are needed "to apply for or renew US Passports" neither of which applies.
