The post office in Thorofare has been grossly understaffed for the last two weeks. We depend upon the mail that goes to our PO Box since it is payments from customers. Now only 1 person is working in this Post Office and we cannot get our checks until after 1p or 2p in the afternoon! That is ridiculous! Why is only 1 person working at this location? Why do we pay for a Box when we can't get our mail in a timely fashion??

You are relying on the US postal service to run your business? Well then, you get what you deserve. Tax funded and yet they have operated in the RED for the past 14yrs in a row. Now they are conveniently blaming covid for their incompetence. Funny, UPS, FedEx and Amazon have had little to no problems getting my package to my home on time while turning a profit. I guess Covid doesn't effect them.

I have had several packages sit there for weeks, they have also lost quite a few but this time is the icing on the cake. One of my labels was separated from my package and they put my label on a whole different package yet three weeks later I have still not found my original package that had $190 worth of merchandise in it. They don’t answer the phone and I don’t think one person in that office knows how to smile.

I have a package which was scheduled to arrive yesterday 6/8 by 8 pm.it never arrived. Today my latest update says it arrived at south jersey distribution center 6/9 at 11:29 am and departed at 12:51 pm. Later text /email says departed at 1:40 in transit to destination. Is this being delivered today 6/9 to destination address?

The Bellmawr P.O. is THE BEST! Helpful people, useful machines (kiosk for weight & postage), easy parking and great HOURS. Used to drive from Ocean City NJ to Bellmawr P.O. to take a day off my shipping time in the old days. I only use the Internet to look up prices, zip codes, etc. I do all business and personal shipping & mailing & purchases in person. I am FURIOUS that FedEx advised Postmaster to stop overnight express delivery on Saturdays (saw him say so on CSPAN). It was affordable, reliable, and competitively priced. That's what self-serving FedEx had against it (plus PO will deliver express mail to a P.O. box and no one else will; UPS won't even get outta bed on Sat to deliver). In 2014 I shipped Eagles stuff from Bellmawr P.O. to VA Friday for delivery on Saturday. Perfect! In 2015, I tried the same thing, same week, same shipping address, on Friday: NOT POSSIBLE TO DELIVER to same VA address next day (Saturday), but offered delivery on Sunday for $40-$50, or Monday for $40+ Clerk suggested I try shipping to nearby business address - same problem, same ridiculous prices. (Prior year it was $10-12 by USPS) The Post Office is a "field office" of the USA government and should be retained and appreciated as such. In event of national emergency, our USPS letter carriers can deliver to whole country; they know when seasonal addresses are occupied at the seashore, and they know where P.O. box-holders are physically located. I love the POST OFFICE and its capabilities. In-person transactions are frequently the only way to go!

I have been attempting to get information from the postal service for 7 months. I have made numerous calls to the toll free number. Always no matter what time of day you wait. No one answers. Leave a message no one calls you back. I have called the bellmawr office. I have been put on hold and no one returns.

Good luck, same situation here except my post office opens up your mail and then gossips about what you get. She lets a drug dealer in back where no ones allowed to go. 2,000 in stamps missing and she doesn't know how to do her job. What did they do? She got a promotion! That's the US post office for you!
