You gave me incorrect info today. You stated the return receipts are sent back by the RECIPIENT and NOT by the Post Office. I called 800 ASK USPS and they confirmed that it IS the Post Office's responsibility to collect a signature and return the green card to the sender.
All 3 clerks told me that if the RECIPIENT didn't mail me the green card there was nothing they could do about it. IN FACT it IS the Post Office's responsibility to collect a signature on the green card and mail it back to me, as THAT us the service for which i contracted with you. Please educate you clerks on how the Return Receipt service works.
The mail carrier for my apartment building left all the boxes (18) unsecured yesterday. I have tried a number of times to contact the local post office by phone to no avail (wait time runs out into a busy signal). I contacted the postal inspector (human) by phone who transferred me to a recording that told me to try later. Why can't I get any assistance?
This is the SECOND time I've had a package stolen outside our apartment complex security door, and I'm PISSED. The last time it happened, I filled out a claim form as I was told to do - and never heard a peep. Never got my money back or anything. This time it was a box of incense that I damn well know could have easily fit in my mailbox, but NOOOOOO - the idiot carrier just left it there, and of course some scumbag scored a free box of incense. This is ridiculous. I've called this location several times now, and of course the phone just rings and rings - they NEVER PICK IT UP. The customer service is a freaking joke here.
Just the the post office in Hillcrest 92103, waiting in line just like everyone and yes I had my two service animals with me like always, then this door open by idiot yelling in a loud voice that my service animals weren't, he didn't ask me anything, I said they were service, he said no a slap the door, now Im at the counter with this nice young man clerk, I asked if he knew that person, said their boss, then he opened door again but never step outside of it and yelling in a mad-ism ill tone that was really frightening he he yelled he was going to have me evicted, I then told the clerk I should call the police bvecuase he had to be on something, I never in my 62 years seem a head mand of any kind for the Postal Service act the way he did to, I am HIV that since my T-Cells down that tone of his voice, something needs to be done about that unprofessional thing
i went in today to ship a package and the marketing manager was there...at the hillcrest san diego branch..she came and got me out of the line and brought me over to the computer and showed me how to ship the box myself. she was super helpful and very kind...perhaps one of the best experiences i've had at the post office YET! she put a smile on my face. i wish i remembered her name. i am bad with names put she was the marketing manager in the hillcrest branch on the 28th of april 2017...thank you
My mail was stopped and I have no idea why. My mail carrier left a note in my box about "you are new to this mail box, please let us know your name". I responded, "I've lived here for 7 years, wth???". Mail started again. However I had a thank you card (with a check) and mail from my landlord returned. She called me to ask if I was moving. I call the number and it's busy. I can't afford to leave work to go talk to someone. Why is someone--who isn't me--allowed to mess with my mail?
The phone number is always busy. New post man on our business route and get lots of other businesses mail and change to late delivery is a Hugh hassle. Missing lots of mail and might have to change the amount processed by the post office.
This posy office actually closes at 5pm. The phone number is always " busy" when I called several times. They are extremely difficult to get a hold of! I just want to pick up my package or have them re-deliver!
