This station is lacking in any type of customer service whatsoever. I have a friend that is a small business owner doing a few thousand dollars worth of postage per month. They lie and report they have picked up her packages when they haven’t. She called the customer service number and she made a complaint. STILL no response. No wonder they are trying to get rid of the post office - apparently they all take their jobs for granted!
I had a big package that came in that I ordered on amazon, This was a very expensive and fragile package. I was surprised the post man came to my door on Saturday not ringing my door bell or knocking and I have to sign for the package>????? I got a slip at my door instead and the postman was gone. Um gloves and a mask should be enough to knock on my door or ring my door bell to advise I got this huge package. So I read the slip went down to your post office this was on Saturday 7/11..at 2pm the guy at the front desk was not very helpful and I had advised I am here to see about picking up a package I got no knock on my door or a door bell ring he said sorry I can not help you. I said what? He said it still on the truck you will have to wait for it to be sent to you or you can come back and pick up the package. I said can you call or something to the driver who has it maybe I can meet him and give him the slip or something..or wait for it. He said we close at 3pm I can not call him you will just have to come back. you have 15 days from today to come back. I said ok I will come back. Today is 7/13 I got Michael to service me at the desk he was very pleasant kind very helpful and professional I loved him please keep Michael!!! He is the type of person that is so thoughtful and caring he took my slip and said wait here I will search for the package in the back for you he went back and thoroughly looked and found that my package was sent to another post office..he said I am not sure why it was not sent back here he said here is the address and the phone number call them first then go there. I thanked him and he was just amazing.,the guy on Saturday did not even do that for me to go in the back to check for the package did not get on a computer nothing he was very unhelpful. I could not believe it. Michael today was helpful and just all across the board awesome!! and treated me with a 10 star customer service. He needs to be a trainer or a manager and teach this jerks who work for you that if they do not appricate the job you give them then go find another one it not just a paycheck your job is more then that! So I am going to wait for the package if I do not receive it then i will talk to amazon and i did call them today they said they will make sure the post office delivers it and makes sure i get it. I know you have guidelines for covid 19 i respect it but gloves and masks should be worn and they should be able to knock at your door or ring the door bell when they deliver the packages not leave a slip at your door and walk away. That's a package i have to sign. So the consumer knows i got it ok and it a big fragile package i paid a lot of money for so if you got your delivery guys out there let them know to knock on the door or ring the door bell or something to let me know my package is at my door to sign. Had issues with misplaced mail tried to call local post office, no one ever answered the phone. 7 calls later they take phone off hook. Rude! Unproffessional! Get your crap together! 3 times you lost my packages. Hire a monkey! Better than your employees
Horrible service! My father was suppose to receive a package from India. When it finally arrived, I wasn't home to sign for the package, so naturally, he gets the slip so he can come in next day to pick up the package. When he gets there the next day, little does he know some retard at this facility put his package in the send pile to the India location! He asks what they will do and they told him they will search for the package. At this point, the package is already in Phoenix. They told him the next day, they will personally call the Phoenix location and have it redirected back to Mesa, by a supervisor that, get this, doesn't even look like she is even in her 20's! She takes his phone number and says she will personally call him the next day, which is suppose to be today (July 6) when they have the package in hand and ready to be picked up from him. That brings us today, July 6 early in the morning, we check the tracking and it was already in California the past day! Says it has departed California heading to destination. Which destination?! Back to India or back to where it was suppose to be, here in Mesa, before someone "miss read the label"?! Very angry with this location! Hire people who actually know how to carefully read the packages instead of rushing to finish their shift and miss reads the labels and places the packages in the pile going back to where it was shipped!!
